Terms of use:
All users who order documents from Frontiers in Bioscience, should read and accept the following terms upon placement of their orders. Please note that Frontiers in Bioscience strictly adheres to the following guidelines:
All orders
Do not click on the "Submit button" twice. Your request will be duplicated. FBS does not accept responsibility for such duplicate payments.
The requests for reprints will all be processed and may not be cancelled or refunded following placement of an order.
FBS does not accept responsibility in errors in forms including errors in manuscript citation or number that are sent to be processed. User takes the responsibility of ordering the correct document when any document is ordered. Documents that are ordered by "Normal" mode will be the only ones that will be sent via Email and documents that are ordered by "Premier" mode are the only ones available to the users. Please do not contact FBS for user errors.
A server receipt is sent to the Email provided in the order. Other than this receipt, FBS does not provie a paid invoice for requests ordered online. Other than this receipt, payment invoices are not generated.
PPV Order Service
PPV users can access the document of their choice from journal volumes. "Username" is the same Email address provided in the order form.
Note: Please note that there are two types of reprints that can be downloaded after your order is placed through premiers service: HTML with links and PDF files. Clicking on the title of each article allows download of HTML document with links (see sample). Clicking on items marked as PDF type II allows download of the PDF files (see sample). Please note that only one download is possible after each order and that you will not be able to download both files with a single order. Please order the right item. Please do not submit E-mail to FBS requiring to send any file by E-mail if the mode of delivery that you have opted for is premier service which allows you to download the document of your interest directly. The server maintains a record of document downloaded after each order and no other document can be downloaded or E-mailed after using this service. You will not receive any document by E-mail, response or refund for wrong downloads.
Orders by Fax, Email and Mail Service
All reprints will be sent by email as PDF file unless requested otherwise.
If citation is not indicated in the Normal Service Order Form, no reprint can be sent until an email with correct citation is received. In such cases, please do not use the form, simply send an email with citation to fbs@bioscience.org
Once the payment has been received, the reprint will be E-mailed to the E-mail address defined in the order form within the time frame specified in the form. Document are sent within the time frame defined in the order form. "Day" is defined as "Normal Business Day" and might not include weekends or holidays. If time of delivery is not entered into the form, the default delivery is one day.
When payment is processed, an electronically generated receipt is sent to the E-mail address defined in the order form. Additional receipts or invoices will not be generated.
PDF files are all sent by E-mail as attachment. Two E-mails will be sent. The first E-mail will notify the recipient that the document will be sent with next E-mail. The second E-mail will contain the PDF file as attachment. In case that the document is not received, it is the responsibility of the recipient to notify FBS that the document has not been received so that the document can be sent by another alternative method.
In case that service is halted due to server update, virus threat or any other reason, the processing of requests might be delayed. In such cases, the requests are processed in the order they are received after resumption of service.
If you wish to receive hard copies, please indicate this in your request in the citation box. If you wish the reprint to be mailed rather than emailed, for a single copy, please add $25 for shipment in US and $45 for outside US. For multiple copies, please write to fbs@bioscience.org.
